Overview

Your Lightspeed Voice settings control personal preferences, including your information, extension options, notification preferences, voicemail options, and message templates. Use this training with your available account permissions.

Open Your Settings

Sign in to Lightspeed Voice and open the gear icon in the top navigation bar. Review the settings available to your user.

Profile Information and Availability

Update your personal information and profile picture so coworkers can identify you. Review your status and availability preferences and how your information appears to other users.

Extension and Voicemail Options

Review the extension settings available to you, including call waiting, recording, greetings, and voicemail preferences. See the Voicemail Guide for mailbox access and greetings.

Notifications

Review notification preferences for the activity you need to see. The dashboard's notification bell alerts you to voicemail and other system activity. Orbit desktop also has startup and system notification options described in the Orbit desktop guide.

Message Templates

Review your message templates in settings. In Messenger, expand the conversation window with the two-arrows icon to select a template or insert shortcodes. See the Messenger and Texting Guide.

Practice with Your Trainer

Locate your personal settings, confirm your information and availability, review voicemail options, and check the notifications you rely on.
